//Philippe de Poulpiquet est photographe depuis 1997 et grand reporter au quotidien Le Parisien/Aujourd'hui en France (groupe LVMH). Il est membre de l'agence SAIF images (Société des Auteurs des arts visuels et de l'Image Fixe), représenté par l'agence photo de la Réunion des Musées Nationaux et du Grand Palais (RMN)et la galerie Jean-Denis Walter à Paris. Son travail fait partie des collections du musée de l'Armée aux Invalides.

Son travail a été récompensé par le «Prix Sergent Sébastien Vermeille» de l'Armée de Terre en 2019, en 2012 par un «Award of Excellence» du prix Pictures of the Year aux États-Unis et distingué par le «Best of Photojournalism» 2012, «Grand prix des quotidiens nationaux» en 2011 pour son reportage dans les tunnels de Gaza. Projeté à plusieurs reprises au festival international de photojournalisme Visa pour l'Image, en particulier pour son travail sur les soldats français blessés tués en Afghanistan (Afghanistan: la guerre d'après), résumé dans un livre intitulé «pour la France…», publié en 2013, un travail qui a fait l'objet d'une acquisition pour les collections du musée de l'Armée à Paris.

// Philippe has been a photojournalist since 1997 and is based in Paris. He worked in Afghanistan, Irak, Lebanon, Gaza, Israël, Syria, Turkey, Libya, Tunisia, Morocco, Haïti, RCA, Tchad, Ivory Coast, Mali, Ukraine, Russia, Egypt, U.S.A...

Philippe was born in 1972. After cinematographic studies, he went to live in Cameroon in 1994 to serve during his military time. Back in France in 1996, he then becomes a freelance photographer for press magazines. In 2000, he begins his collaboration for the french daily newspaper Le Parisien / Aujourd'hui en France, where he is today international reporter. This last 20 years, he covered the main conflicts in Africa or in the Middle East, sharing his time between news reporting and portraits.

His work was rewarded in 2019 with « Sergent Sébastien Vermeille award » by french « Armée de Terre », in 2012 with an « Award of Excellence » by the price Pictures Of the Year in the USA, awarded by the « Best of Photojournalism » 2012. « Grand prix des quotidiens nationaux » in 2011 for his report in the tunnels of Gaza. Screened several times at photojournalism international festival Visa pour l'Image, particularly for his work on the wounded French soldiers killed in Afghanistan, summarized in a book entitled « pour la France… », published in 2013, acquisition of photographic collections « musée de l'Armée » in Paris.
